Rockland’s only pipe organ
Rockland Congregational Church is blessed to have the only remaining pipe organ in Rockland, Maine. It was rebuilt in the 1970’s, when the new church was built on Limerock Street. When the church on Main Street was torn down, the organ was rescued from it, piece by piece, and then brought up to the new church. Now, we enjoy the blessing of beautiful music every Sunday morning.
Choir
We have a vibrant and active choir who share their joyous voices with our congregation almost every Sunday.
Practices are every Tuesday evenings (call the church office for the time) in the music room and meetinghouse; and on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m.
All are welcome when they are able!
Concerts
Sunday worship often welcomes guest musicians – horns, harp and happy voices.
We have had several gospel groups perform for our community over the past few years.
