Rockland’s only pipe organ

Rockland Congregational Church is blessed to have the only remaining pipe organ in Rockland, Maine. It was rebuilt in the 1970’s, when the new church was built on Limerock Street. When the church on Main Street was torn down, the organ was rescued from it, piece by piece, and then brought up to the new church. Now, we enjoy the blessing of beautiful music every Sunday morning.

Choir

We have a vibrant and active choir who share their joyous voices with our congregation most Sundays.
Practices are every Tuesday evening at 5:30 in the music room and meetinghouse; and on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m.
All are welcome when they are able!

Other Musical Gifts:

Sunday worship often includes choir members sharing their musical talents other than their voice. Recently several services have featured a variety of instruments including; volins, bango, guitar, and percussion.
